Experiment was carried out at the Experimental Station of Aleksandras Stulginskis University in 2011–2012. The aim of the experiment was to determine the influence of sowing time on winter oilseed rape productivity formation. Treatments of the experiment – factor A – sowing dates: 1) August 10, 2) August 20, 3) August 30, 4) September 5, 5) September 10, 6) September 15; factor B – cultivar: 1) conventional ˈSundayˈ, 2) hybrid ˈKronosˈ. Sowing time had a significant effect on biometric parameters of winter rape in autumn before wintering and sprig time. The cultivar significantly influenced the number of leaves per plant. Sowing time and cultivar significantly influenced seed yield of winter rape. During the experiment, also detected some significant correlation coefficients between yield and biometric parameters.
