Abstract: The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of exogenous abscisic acid (ABA) on content of photosynthetic pigments in green millet plants. The experiments were carried out in the Laboratory of Agrobiotechnology of Aleksandras Stulginskis University in 2011-2012. All investigated concentrations of exogenous abscisic acid inhibited the synthesis of chlorophyll in green millet plants. Chlorophyll b content in leaves of green millet plants depended on the ABA concentration and cultivation time after spraying. All investigated concentrations of exogenous abscisic acid stimulated the synthesis of carotenoids in green millet plants
