Abstract: Theoretical calculations have been performed on small wind turbine with rated power generator of 1 kilowat. Calculations were made using statistics of wind speed data of year 2009. It is ctt mated that wind power plant uses approximately 35 percent of the wind energy to produce Beat and only about 13-14 percent of the wind kinetic energy can be converted to the standard parameter electrical energy. Due to stronger winds, power plant generates more electricity during the cold season when heating demand is highest
