Research was carried out during 2010-2011 at the Perloja research station of the LAMMC branch. Experimental soil was (Hapli - Albic Luvisol). Aim of the present research was to establish weed emergence, death and total number in the spelta winter wheat crop from sowing to harvesting. Obtained research data confirmed that weediness change dynamics in the crop significantly depend on spelta winter wheat sowing and weed recording time as well from interaction of both mentioned factors. More intensive weed emergence was established in the crop of later sowing. Just in May intensifying joint weed emergence was established tendency of more intensive weed emergence in earlier than in later sowed crop. Weed death was recorded only during winter time from January to March. Total weed number of spelta winter wheat crop was either essentially higher in later sowing crop that has tendency to increase during January, February and March. Total crop weediness, weed emergence and death change absence during June - August required supplementary analyses for which will be used data of other observations (weediness and spelta wheat) of the experiment.
