There are several species of this family that grown in all conditions, but there are those requiring a special growth conditions. The main requirements are: gentian family plants grow in moist areas with good drainage, does not like dry air, required intense light, but the same time do not like to overheat. The number of germinated seed was calculated every 3 day after the first seeds was sprout. Autmn sowing (seed stratification and vernalization) increase the yellow gentian seed germination from 0 % to 40 %, cross gentian from 14 % to 47 %.
