Abstract (en)
The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of amino acids added to medium on rapeseed shoots cold tolerance in vitro. The experiments carried out in the laboratory of Agrobiotechnology of Aleksandras Stulginskis University in 2010-2011. Studied exogenous amino acids substantially increased the proline content in winter rapeseed shoots after 5 days of de-acclimation. Soluble sugars content under influence of amino acids significantly increased after 5 days of de-acclimation. Exogenous amino acids applied to nutrition medium significantly decreased the shoot electrolyte conductivity.
