dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this research is to investigate chemical - mechanical properties of pellets. This paper presents the results of this research and also provides comparison with other forms of energy. The mixed biomass pellets studied meets European Standards requirements. It was found that most calorific were wood dust, sawdust + peat and peat pellets. Because the pellets have to be transported from the factory to the customers, pellet mechanical strength is also very important to the manufacturer. Pellet resistance to compression test results are also provided in this paperen
