Abstract
The investigation was carried out in 2010-2011 at the private greenhouse in Alytus town. Hybrid tomato breeds of Enza Zaden concern have been selected for the experiment: Buran, Loretto, Amaneta, Cindel, Nemere and Fado. Seeds were planted in plastic containers filled with mineral substratum supplemented by compost and hydrocomplex. In addition, fertilizes with microelements have been applied in small amounts once per week at the stage of growth and flowering. The fungal deceases spread in greenhouse without usage of protection means was observed in 2010 while copper sulphate and iron sulphate mixture was applied in 2011. Also, dynamics of tomato pestilence spread and protection means effect on leafs brown mildew observed. It was estimated that in well-balanced substratum the additionally application of fertilizes in small amounts (N103P24K151) together with microelements as well spray of copper and iron sulphate have increased tomato resistance to fungal deceases. Although small amounts of copper and iron sulphate couldn’t stop deceases spread completely however it allowed tomato to grow up 6 hands. Having spread tomato once with Previkiur solution the pestilence spread was stopped completely. Non-mildew resistance tomato breeds (Cindel, Amaneta) also grew up 6 hands however leafs were damaged. It could be stated that tomato cultivation in plastic containers saves moisture and so protects from deceases and pests. Additionally, the application of copper sulphate increases resistance to fungal deceases.
Stebėjimai buvo atliekami 2010-2011 metais Alytaus mieste, polietilenu dengtame privačiame šiltnamyje. Tyrimui parinkta Enza Zaden firmos pomidorų hibridai: Buran , Loretto, Amaneta, Cindel, Nemere, Fado.
