Abstract: The aim is to identify straw briquettes and pellets moisture and ash content. Experimental research conducted out in Germany Stralsund high school chemistry laboratory. Research performed in two different variants, which the straw briquettes and pellets moisture and ash content. Experimental results showed that the samples are dried for 3 hours at the lowest moisture content of straw pellets (5.24%), while the highest - straw briquettes (13.51%). An ash analysis showed that straw briquette ash content was slightly higher (8.48%) than that of straw pellets (8.02%). It is influenced by the briquettes and pellets were used for the same component of straw
