Abstract: Analysis of the declared agricultural land and crop areas situated in Krekenava Regional Park, which is situated in the Middle Lithuania, is presented in the article. Almost the entire territory of the park is situated in Paneve˛ys district, only the south-western edge marginally intervenes into the Kedainiai district municipality of Kaunas County. Naujamiestis subdistrict was chosen for the comparison of the use of agricultural farming lands in the regional park. The area of the subdistrict covers 15.6 thousand ha. Following the data of the Agriculture information and rural business center, the total area of agricultural lands and crop covers 55673.88 ha, that makes up 48.96 per cent of the total area of the regional park. The number of the farmers, who declared their crops, is 271. The area of the declared agricultural lands in Naujamiestis subdistrict – 8856.39 ha and it makes up 56.77 per cent of the total area of the subdistrict. 286 farmers introduced declarations. The declared areas of the Krekenava regional park and Naujamiestis subdistrict, for which direct payments are paid, are analyzed in the article as well
