Abstract: The aim of investigation was to determine the species composition and distribution, of ground beetles in various agrobiocenosis located in Lazdijai area, Dyviliskiai village. In time of research, 998 individuals were captured. Identified 23 species, belonging to 7 genera: Amara, Bembidion, Broscus, Calathus, Carabus, Harpalus, Pterostichus. Surveys carried out during the raids were mostly caught in the cultural meadow (321 units). In natural meadows and plowed grassland was caught similar content of ground beetles (240 and 231 units). The least ground beetles was caught in arable land (206 units)
