Abstract (en)
Forest fragmentation, connectivity, arrangement, forest edges ecological effect is important for biodiversity, ecological stability. The tendencies of Nature Frame regeneration, changes in forests spatial morphological structure from the bioecological point of view were explored in 1995-2005 year period according to Lithuania case study. Corine land cover data, GIS, Morphological Spatial Pattern Analysis was applied in this essay. Results showed positive changes in landscape structure due to abandoned agricultural land, national forest coverage enlargement program. Changes relates also to regions development, national general plan solutions implementation.
