dc.description.abstractNemuno vagos dugnas ties Kauno miestu pasižymi labai sudėtingomis sąlygomis vaginių procesų atžvilgiu. Tai įvairių antropogeninių veiksnių formuojamas ruožas. Viena iš daugelio intensyvios Nemuno ties Kaunu vaginių procesų kaitos antropogeninių priežasčių yra Kauno HE tvenkinio suformavimas ir nešmenų akumuliacija jame. Iki Kauno HE pastatymo Nemune Lies Smalininkais nešmenys per metus sudarė 750 tūkst. t skendinčių ir 188 tūkst. t dugninių. Pastačius HE nešmenų sumažėjo atitinkamai 1,9 ir 1,7 karto. Nešmenų netekąs vandens srautas žemutiniame bjefe pradėjo intensyviai plauti Nemuno vagos dugną iki tvirtos savigrindos susidarymo. Hidroelektrinės darbo poveikis vagos gilėjimui yra dažni vandens lygio svyravimai kai vykdomas HE galingumo paros reguliavimas leidžiant savo instaliuotą debitą. Dugno plovimas ir savigrindos formavimas vyksta vandens greičio pulsacijos zonoje kai teka dideli debitai. Svarūs faktoriai, lėmęNemuno vagos gilėj imo procesą pažeidžiant dugno savignndą, yra dugno valymo - gilinimo darbai laivybos reikmėms bei vagoje įrengiami karjerai tiekti žvyrą statyboms. Ruože žemiau Neries žiočių ir Jurbarko per 1970-1990 metų laikmetį Nemunas neteko apie 11 mln. m3 grunto, o iš nemažos ruožo dalies buvo nuimtas savigrindos sluoksnis. Šiame Nemuno vagos ruože kasmet apie 600 tūkst. m3 buvo iškasama, o 400 tūkst. m3 nuplaudavo vandens tėkmėlt
dc.description.abstractThe bottom of the Nemunas riverbed above Kaunas, and especially in the strip at the confluence of the Nemunas and the Neris rivers, is characterized by very complex conditions in respect of riverbed processes. This strip is formed by various anthropogenic factors. One of the many anthropogenic reasons for the intense change of the riverbed processes occurring in the Nemunas river above Kaunas is the formation of the HPP pond. Before the construction of Kaunas HPP the sediments in the Nemunas river above Smalininkai settlement made up 750 thousand tones of suspended and 188 thousand tones of riverbed ones. After the construction of Kaunas HPP the number of sediments decreased by 1.9 and 1.7 tones, respectively. The sediment-free water stream in the downstream river reach causes the intense iong lasting riverbed scour in the Nemunas river. The direct impact of the HPP on the deepening of the riverbed results infrequent fluctuations of water level in the strip of the river downstream the dam, when the daily regulation of the HPP capacity is carried out. As large water flow velocities prevail, the river stream washes the riverbed downstream the dam to the formation of the strong self-lining. An important factor determining the process of the Nemunas riverbed bottom deepening is the recurrent floods, especially when they arc extremely intensive. In the strip downstream the Neris river mouth and Jurbarkas the Nemunas river lost 13 million m3 of ground during the period of 1970-1990 and the self-lining layer was removed from the large part of the strip.
