Abstract: Rural homesteads supply of electricity from solar and wind energy relevant farmsteads, remote from the mains. Purpose of the study - based on solar and wind energy using autonomous hybrid power plants for rural homesteads, the basic parameters. Studies have shown that hybrid solar - wind power plant parameters calculated per kilowatt hour daily requirements must be at least 1.35 m2 swept area or and 0.98 m2 of area photovoltaic modules
