Abstract: An analytical review and the results of experimental studies of plant bioi production and usage like the environmentally-friendly local fuel there are presented in paper. There are presented the experimental research results of burning the energy plants willows, chopped by the drum, disc and screw choppers, and for comparison burning ashen wood. Tests were fulfilled in the boiler, which is designed to burn wood, we briquettes and large chips. After determination of harmful substances (CO2, CO, NO( NO, emissions into the environment it was obtained, that burning of energy plants is better pollutant concentrations is low to those sorts of bio-fuels, which is more mixed with while burning (eg. coarse chopped willow stems, chopped by the drum and screw choppe and the wood)
