Abstract: The aim of this study is to determine the possibilities of biogas production from e of wastewater sludge and food waste derived from educational and catering tions. Investigations were carried out on a laboratory biogas reactor. In order to e the energetic value of wastewater sludge the food waste was mixed. The increase gas yield have been achieved up to 11,2 - 16,6 %. The methane concentration of ced biogas was in the range of 64,6 - 65,7 %. Food waste has a higher energy value ;an be used for increasing the efficiency of wastewater biogas plant
