Abstract: Energy input and output of biogas production from mixture of puoltry manure and grass silage has been investigated in this paper. Usage of grass silage, poultry farm and slaughterhouse waste mixture into biogas causes 0,5 GJ/ton direct and 0,19 GJ/ton indirect energy input. Energy consumption depends on the selected technology, organic loading rate, retention time, weather conditions, as well as the quantity of raw materials. Energy potential of poultry farm waste and grass silage mixture is up to 2,26 GJ/ton, while the total energy consumption of processing mixture into biogas - 0,69 GJ/ton. It shows a good energy conversion efficiency for biogas production because efficiency factor reaches 3,2
