Ieškota efektyviausių profesijos pedagogų rengimo nepedagoginiame universitete būdų, atlikta daugybė tyrimų analizuojant situacijas ugdymo institucijose, nustatytos svarbiausios pedagogo asmenybės savybės ir jo reikšmingos kompetencijos sėkmingame pedagoginiame darbe, tirtas studentų profesinės sąmonės kitimas siekiant profesijos pedagogo kvalifikacijos. Parengta antrosios pakopos studijų programa Profesijos edukologija, kurią baigę edukologijos magistrai sėkmingai siekia karjeros ugdymo institucijose. Apibendrinti ilgalaikiai ieškojimai ir reali pedagogo būtis šiandien. Esant grėsmingai situacijai ugdymo sistemoje, ieškojimus tęsiame.
Criterion of education of career teacher is disputed in the article. A lot of attention was paid to find the most effective ways in ca¬reer teacher education in non-pedagogical university, a lot of researches were done in analyzing various situations in institutions of education, main features of teachers personality and his main competencies in successful pedagogical activity were stated, some researches were made to find out the change of students career sense in attainment of qualification of career teacher. Second degree term-time scheme Career Education was made. In graduation from it postgraduates make successful career in institutions of education. Longlasting researches about real being of today's teacher were made. Because of formidable situation in education sistem and schools ways for optimizing of pedagogical process were quested in analyzing how large the group should be teachers could reach the best result in their activities.
