Abstract
The invention relates to area of testing agricultural materials, in particular to methods for determination of specific work of corn uprooting by results of testing under conditions of dynamical loading. According to trie method for determination of specific work of corn uprooting corn head is cleaned from cover, one cuts the upper part, at the rest of part one manually removes most of corn grain and leaves test ledge with fixed number of grain. One fixes the rod of corn head in holder of testing machine, performs dynamical loading of head and determines specific work of uprooting. According to the invention one exactly fixes number of grain uprooted in the process of striking the head at dynamical loading, the upper part of the head is cut. At the rest of the part of the head one separates symmetrically at two sides, from the upper part and in the base of the head, part of grain to lease test ledge 8-12 gains in number in width, one calculates the number of grain in it. Prepared samplewith the part in the base of the head is installed to holder unit consisting of two halves fixed in horizontal plane on plate of pendulum driver, pendulum is brought to working condition and one performs dynamical loading. After test one calculates number of grain left at rod of the head after impact, and thus one accurately fixes number of brain uprooted in the process of striking head at dynamical loading and determines specific work. Besides that according to the invention before installation to holding unit one winds dense paper on the part of the sample in base of corn head. The method makes it possible to determine accurately work of grain uprooting at dynamical loading.
