Abstract: The researches of wet corn cobs (>35 %) threshing were done. It was found, that the gap between the rasp bar and the concave affects the grain separation through the concave. Increasing the gap by 11 mm (from 32-27-23 mm to 43-37-34 mm), amount of grain passing on the straw walkers increases by 23.6 percents. Also found that the rational gap for the threshing of wet corn cobs is 34 mm at front and 25 mm at the end of the concave, because it gives the least of losses of grain threshing (<0.5 %), the part of damaged grain is less than 3 % and the amount of grain passing on the straw walker is about 20 %. Increasing the speed of the threshing drum from 450 rpm to 550 rpm it was noticed, that the losses of grain threshing fit the limit of 0.5 %. Then the part of damaged grain is less than 2.5 %
