Abstract: The influence of acid and acid antrachinone dyes' concentration in wool fibre on the lightfastness of this fibre has been studied. The dependence of lightfastness upon the spectric composition of insolation source has been investigated. The results show, that acid antrachinone dyes, especially in higher concentrations, increase the lightfastness of wool fibre effectively. The decrease of the photochemical degradation is explained by the peculiarities of the structure and structural changes of the used dyes
