Abstract: The main task of these investigations was to evaluate biogas energy conversion factors on the biogas cogenerator. Tests were performed on cogenerator with 140 kW Otto gas engine. Biogas consumption, energy use, produced electrical and thermal energy were found in a range 50 - 100 % of electrical load of cogenerator. Energy conversion factors were estimated for biogas conversion to electrical and thermal energy on gas cogenerator
