Abstract: The link of research comprises the analysis of changes tendencies of rural tourism service supply, quality and diversity, interaction between rural tourism and handicrafts, and rural tourism competitiveness increasing factors. The aim of research is focused to frame the means for rural tourism service competitiveness enhance. The presumptive research description covers the view about the increase of rural tourism development. The higher accommodation of rural tourism homesteads become the tendency in Lithuania, when the yield of 1 stork homesteads is becoming less popular than 3-4 storks. In fact, the tendency of such quantity of homesteads growth is not connected with the price and comfort level, but it depends upon the variety of delivered services. The interaction between rural tourism and handicrafts is too low. The presented consequences are framed after the analysis of scientific concepts and empirical research results. The competitiveness increase derivation model is presented as the results to develop rural tourism in Lithuania
