Abstract: Stebint ir analizuojant pastarojo dešimtmečio Lietuvos kaimiškoje erdvėje vykstančius ekonominius procesus ne tradicine žemės ūkio veikla užsiimančių subjektų veikloje, ženkliausi pokyčiai matomi kaimo turizmo versle. Straipsnyje apibendrinti kaimo turizmo verslininkų verslumui darantys įtaką veiksniai, verslumo ugdymo raida bei įvardintos sėkmingos kaimo turizmo verslininkystės Lietuvoje prielaidos. Straipsnis yra taikomojo pobūdžio. Atlikto kokybinio tyrimo pagrindu sudarytas ir pateiktas kaimo turizmo verslininkų verslumo raidos aprašas pasitarnaus bakalaurantams ir magistrantams studijuojant kaimo plėtros vadybą ir sudarant ekonominės veiklos įvairinimo modelius
The current decade of succesfull development of the rural tourism in Lithuania is normally related to active participation in the EU and and national business stimulation programs by the businessmen of the rural tourism. Similar stimulation programs are also available to the business of traditional arts and alternative to agriculture activities. However, the level of development of this sector is lower than that of the rural tourism. This indicates, that external incentives are not the major factors, affecting business development, and internal factors have to be accounted as well. The purpose of the article is to establish a chronology of the rural tourism business development Lithuania using internal factors, that affected the eterpreneurship of the businessmen of the rural tourism. Current level of entrepreneurship of rural toursim bussines is achieved by long-term informal and formal education, good business practise knwoledge spread and stimulation of community activities
