Abstract: An experimental research was performed on possibilities of reducing thermal loss in the accumulative container of a solar collector system. The research was made on an accumulative container covered with 50 mm rock wool thermal insulation, which was put into an additionally insulated block with integrated elements of the solar collector system. The results showed: when installing an accumulative container into the block together with functional elements of the system, smaller comparative thermal losses were noticed
