Abstract: The flat-plate solar collector was tested by experiments. Tests were executed on the laboratory stand that contains solar simulator, collector, fluid circulator, heal exchanger and measuring system. Experiments were performed with glass and polycarbonate covers. Energy conversion factors on the collector with glass cover were higher than with polycarbonate cover. Fluid flow rale had less influence on the energy conversion factors of the solar collector with glass cover
