Abstract (en)
The goal of this short study is to compare nine widely used concepts: reliability, robustness, survivability, trust- worthiness, high confidence, high assurance, fault management, self-healing, and resilience to the concept of dependability as it is presented with a taxonomy in the 2004 paper "Basic concepts and taxonomy of dependable and secure computing". The study also considers the representation of those concepts in the general taxonomy of computer science and engineering "ACM Computing Classification, 2012 Revision".
