Abstract: In the article there are personal and organizational values analyzed, congruence between them is discussed. Personal values are everything that is important to a human being and organizational values are beliefs and moral principles, which lie in the culture of the organization and give importance to the norms and standards within it. The idea of congruence of values stems from the perception that the public share a common value system, but it is mixed. Congruence of values is not only in absolute terms, but also the process oriented to the integrity, which is based on the search of flexibility, compromises and compatibility. Problem of the research is the following question: what are the prevailing personal and organizational values and how they match each other? What is the influence of congruence on the employee and the organization? Aim of the research: to explore personal and organizational values and give proposals to explore the congruence of values. To achieve the aim of the research the following objectives have been raised: (1) to define personal and organizational values; (2) to analyze the importance of congruence of personal and organizational values to the organization; (3) to set the values that are general to the individual and the organization
