Abstract: Straipsnyje atskleidžiamas muzikos pedagogo įvairiapusiškumas, atliekant skirtingus jo veiklą įprasminančius vaidmenis. Mokytojai jiems priskiriamus vaidmenis atpažįsta, tačiau praktinėje veikloje praktikuoja toli gražu ne visus
The purpose of this article is to reveal the versatility of a teacher in the context of mastering different roles. Scientific literature analysis and surveys were used to achieve the goal. To develop the students' musical abilities and general understanding about the art of music, the teachers shouldn't confine themselves with only class and school activities. More than half of the respondents, when asked to define a professional music teacher, chose to answer with options, that are linked to the concert practice outside the school. The study shows that the music teacher's versatility is expressed through mastering different roles that change according to situations. One type of expertise outweigh the other in different types of situations. After-school activities, concerts and preparation for the concerts and projects, gathering ensembles, surely improve the teacher and provides him professional and personal appeal.
