Abstract (en)
Knowledge society and the permanent change of labor market needs in Lithuania determine (in this case) the increasing need for the ICT skills and competencies. The demand for digital literacy is stimulated by the increasing role of ICT in teaching and learning process, i.e. the speed of information transmission is becoming higher and the access to information is getting better. Thus ICT becomes an essential part for the development of teaching and learning process. ICT opens new teaching possibilities and increase opportunities for individuals and especially for teachers to acquire new competencies.
