Abstract: Current crisis is a very interesting example of how global financial and economic trends may influence legal systems on a global scale. While we talk about state sovereignty on one hand, on the other hand we have global finance and economics which do not take consideration of state frontiers. Securitisation is a legal mechanism which, so widely used in global finance and so little known about in general public, is an excellent example of economic-financial-legal perplexities, which tend to test whether well established legal concepts would succumb to the economic reality.[...]
