Abstract: Different species of ticks from order Parasitiformes are known to be found in Baltic region. During spring-summer of 2007-2008 in 25 localities of Baltic region different species and development stages of ticks were collected from vegetation and from small mammals. For identification of ticks till species level were used both, morphological and molecular keys. In May of 2008, in Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian localities from vegetation were collected 541 questing ticks.[...]
