Abstract:	Accorning to the analysis of the materials of the expeditions of 1987-2002 years, comparing these data with the opinion of the earlier researchers it is evident that the general tendencies of the European music together with the political and economical conditions did the great influence to the changing the traditions of the ethnic instrumental performance, while the local peculiarities of Lithuanian ethnic music were remained
