Abstract (en)
The policy evaluation market in the Central and Eastern Europe has not long tradition. The evaluation process in the region just started with the implementation of the evaluation of European Union Structural Funds. There are other sources of the demand for the evaluation market development. Political and administrative initiatives, international organizations and citizens' pressure can encourage to open the market for the external evaluators in the following areas: regulatory impact assessment, budgetary programs, strategic planning documents. The combination of these three sources, will affect the field of public policy evaluation in a substantial way.
