Abstract
The aim of this paper is to test the devaluation risk assessment method and evaluate the risk of currency devaluation in the Baltic satates. The first part of this paper is the introduction. The next parts present the model chosen for analysis of currency devaluation risk and an analysis of the Baltic states situation itself. The analysis has been carried out using one model based on interest rate factor: the interest rates' difference model. The results of the analysis have shown that the biggest risk of devaluation is in Latvia. The third part is the final one: It draws conclusions about the results of the analysis and brings some suggestions to improve the model used.
