Abstract: According to the Minisity of Education and Science "Programme for the Establishment of the Posts of Social Pedagogues in Educational Institutions 2001-2005" 800 posts of social pedagogues, whose support is necessary to schoolchildren, their parents, pedagogues, and local communities, had to be established. Social work in educational system and its impact on school community is being discussed in this article from the point of view of a social pedagogue.
