Market economy is developed in Lithuania and in most post-communist countries. Universities and business schools have new programs in economics and business management education, which are more or less harmonized with programmes offered by European and American universities. Socrates exchange has started in all European universities. At present knowledge and learning have become key success factors of human resources and increase their potential in international competition in the open economy system; knowledge helps sustainable economic growth, greater social cohesion, lowers unemployment.[...].
