Abstract: Decorative pot-plants’ import into Lithuania from other countries (the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and other) has recently increased therefore it is necessary to keep the decorativeness of imported healthy plants for as long as it is possible. The aim of this work was to discover the decaying and dieing causes of imported plants. In 1999–2007 micological researches were performed on rhizosphere of 58 taxons belonging to 48 species and 30 genera pot-plants. The high quality plants brought from the Netherlands in pots in peat substrate enriched with slowly melting mineral fertilizers were investigated. These plants were grown under optimal conditions, which satisfied environment temperature and substrata humidity needs of every single plant species.[...]
