Abstract (en)
Drawing from Kierkegaard‘s description in The concept of Anxiety of the category of demonic anxiety as det Indesluttende, this essay traces a historical commentary on figural renditions of the sinner as homo incurvatus in se. This essay argues that Kierkegaard makes an invention in this tradition by way of an allegorical deployment of the figure of det Indesluttende.
