Abstract: Research results on morphological ornamental characteristic of Lithuanian cultivars of Chinese Peony (Peonia lactiflora Pall.) (originated by Ona Skeivienė, Emilija and Jonas-Evaldas Tarvidai) and Semiono Eicher-Lorkos Suffrutex peony (Peonia suffruticose Andrews) together with the suitability for cultivation in green plantation are discussed in this article. Totally, 48 cultivars of peonies were assessed and a big variety of its morphological characteristics was established. Peonies are suitable for different types of the parterres
