|Abstract: ||Although the educational reform, which proceeds in Lithuania, applies the offers, used in all European countries, there is not enough attention towards the inner reforms of the colleges: the change of academic society and its potential. The question is: Whether the process of change, taking place in the higher school now reflects the values of the high education, based on the integration of studies and education, and on the attitudes of interaction between students and teachers? The actual problem, analyzed in this work: What this process should be like that the higher school would be able to inspire the essential changes in search of the quality of the high school? Scientific work’s object is a changing process, preparing Catholic religion teachers.The purpose of the analysis – to show the features of the higher school’s transformation into the high school (not university) through the analysis of Kaunas Higher Catechist School’s example (later in the text KHCS).The methods of analysis, used in this work: the analysis of science literature, the data analysis, the comparative analysis of programs.The analysis of science literature enables to state that in the context of the high education becoming massive, when the problem of the quality of high education occurs, non-university studies, as the stage of the high education, must seek for the common educational values of liberal high education and to follow the concept of nowadays studying paradigm. After analysis of KHCS in the context of the reform of the high education, it showed up that the main feature of the higher school’s transformation into the high school is its integration with university in order to make a binary system.The prepared system of non-university studies “Catholic religion”, has no analogies, because it accents the development of competence for the future needs, enabling the student to learn a critical analysis of professional studies and orients towards the strategy, based on the salvation of problems and individual and cooperative project of studying.
The analysis of competence conditions showed, that goals of the independent works of not traditional students are influenced by pedagogical influences and their own personal needs, purposeful self-help, as they are the subjects of education. The possibilities of applying methods are influenced by the organization of educational process, and the goals, pointed for the academic society, which are directed towards the activities compensations, towards the contextual knowledge and the construction of knowing. According to the data of the analysis, the changes, noticed in the work of teacher, allow to state that he is ready for parity cooperation, but the teacher serves for the student’s needs and the student seeks to satisfy his own needs and interests. So the principle of unity between education and studies is not realized yet. Making characteristic Religion College institution’s changing process in Lithuanian High School reform’s context we should point planned outside factors ruling process and inside factors which are made at school, positive atmosphere and collaboration culture of school community. Competence programme is prepared matching pedagogical work and learning, it realizables learning paradigm. This dimesnsion enables students to do different activity, they gets academic freedom and also responsibility for studies and learning. It formed conditions to realize structural changing, become the State College and successfully join to Lithuania High School space.|
Vykstant Lietuvoje aukštojo mokslo reformai, akcentuojami struktūriniai pokyčiai, kurie švietimo institucijos giluminių procesų neatskleidžia. Tuo tarpu gilesnė kaitos procesų analizė kaip tik ir padėtų geriau suprasti kaitos priežastis, veiksnius bei jos vyksmą. Kas verčia keistis mokslo institucijas? Kokio pobūdžio kaita ir kur ji veda? Ar veda į sistemos ir jos narių tobulėjimą, ar paprasčiausiai tik bandoma imituoti kaitos vyksmą? Straipsnio tikslas – atskleisti Religijos studijų kolegijos kaitą, išryškinant išorinius ir vidinius veiksnius, inspiruojančius kaitos procesą iš aukštesniosios mokyklos į aukštojo neuniversitetinio mokslo instituciją, ir charakterizuoti konkrečios institucijos kaitos procesą Lietuvos aukštojo mokslo reformos kontekste.
