Abstract: The review – analytic analysis of plants’ collection made by K. Regelis and stored in the herbarium of the Vilnius University showed that this collection consists of 2031 pages of herbarium. Among them plants of 686 species and 103 families have been found. The richest by the number of species are the families of Asteraceae, Poaceae, Cyperaceae. The majority of the samples of the herbarium are collected in Kaunas and Alytus counties. The exsicats’ exchange carried by K. Regelis with the foreign countries was the basis for the global flora herbarium. K. Regelis together with his graduates collected the 250 plants species demo herbarium for educational purposes which is used until today.
Šio darbo tikslas – bendrais bruožais apžvelgti garsaus botaniko K. Regelio augalų herbariumo kolekciją, saugomą VU herbariume (WI). Kolekcija išnagrinėta apžvalginiu-analitiniu metodu, gauti duomenys apžvelgti botaniniu ir geografiniu aspektais.
