Abstract: Darbe nagrinėjama Paparčių dominikonų vienuolyno raida nuo jo įkūrimo 1649 m. iki uždarymo 1864 m.. dėmesys koncentruojamas į išlikusį vienuolyno architektūrinį (vienuolyno vartai, koplyčia), meninį (skulptūros, paveikslas), rankraštinį (metrika, Pamokslų rinkinys) dominikonų paveldą, šiuo metu esantį Paparčiuose.
The sacral heritage of the Dominican monastery we should distinguish into material and immaterial one. The material heritage of Dominican monastery in Paparčiai would be gate, chapel, statues of saints, and the picture of Blessed Virgin Mary the Nival, two missals, the set of homilies and books of register, which are datable 1657 – 1867 year. The immaterial heritage of the same monastery would be the memories of communion of Paparčiai about quondam Dominican monastery and the renewed interwar tradition to make a Corpus Christi Day procession from the church to the gate and the chapel of quondam monastery. The archeological investigations that were started in 1997 year in the area of former cloister let to restore the exact plan of cloister ensamble. The historical – archeological reservation of Paparčiai was founded in September 25 of 2003 year. It aims to insure the architectural, archeological and historical protection of the former Paparčiai cloister area, their nurturance and appliance to the cultural education of public. Hopefully, the area of former Dominican cloister in the future will become often visited place.
