Abstract
The main purpose of agricultural tractors is to perform pulling and transportation operations. The pulling force is necessary for success of these works. Tractor‘s acceleration depends on the type of it, total weight, number of wheels, but the most important criteria’s speed and acceleration. The goal of research: to determine tire air pressure and pulling force impact for tractor‘s acceleration, evaluating the soil characteristics and the drive wheel slippage. After studies, found dependencies shows, that when the pulling force is increasing, the acceleration of tractor decreases, as result of bigger wheels slip, also tractor’s acceleration is slower, the soil surface is harder. When the pulling force is small and the surface of soil is fluffy, it’s not recommended to decrease tire air pressure from 2,4 to 1,2 bar, because tractor’s acceleration almost does not change.
