The article analyses the issues of students’ socialisation in schools and provides an insight into the attitudes of the respondent groups of an empirical survey (students, teachers, municipal specialists) into the most important factors of socialization as well as in the links between school culture and student socialization. The presented empirical researched allows determining the factors that make an impact on students’ socialization as viewed by the respondents in the stage of pre-socialization, encounter and change as well as identifying the relation between school culture and student socialization. During the survey it was found that the most important socialization factors indicated by the respondent groups were the same, only their significance was rated differently.
