Abstract: Straipsnyje keliamas tikslas – atskleisti bendrojo ugdymo ir aukštosios mokyklos (universitetinės) bendradarbiavimo galimybes, padedant mokiniams planuoti karjerą. Aptariama mokinių karjeros planavimo esmė, pagrindinės karjeros planavimo problemos, bendrojo ugdymo ir aukštosios mokyklos bendradarbiavimo galimybės. Tyrimo metu bandoma atsakyti į klausimą – kaip aukštosios ir bendrojo ugdymo mokyklos bendradarbiavimas padeda mokiniams planuoti karjerą? Išryškinamas bendrojo ugdymo mokykloje dirbančių specialistų požiūris aptariamu klausimu. Tyrimo metodas – pusiau struktūruotas grupinis interviu. Tyrimo rezultatai atskleidė, kad mokykloje organizuojamas ugdymas karjerai turi spragų. Akcentuojamas įvairių renginių, skirtų informuoti studentus apie pasirinkimo galimybes, organizavimo tobulinimo, darbo su mokinių tėvais, poreikis.
General education school plays a coordinator’s role in a process of educating for a career, and relations with social partners and stakeholders largely depend on a general education school. One of the most important social stakeholders in the sphere of educating for a career is a higher education school, which is subsequently entered by a certain part of general education school graduates. The aim of the article is to discover the collaboration opportunities between general education school and higher education school in helping students to plan a career. The objectives of the article are the following: 1. To discover notional potential of collaboration between general education school and higher education school in helping students to plan a career. 2. To point out the collaboration opportunities between general education school and higher education school in helping students to plan a career (from general education school specialists’ point of view). For this article, the data have been collected by methods of scientific literary analysis (pursuing to disclose notional aspects of collaboration opportunities between general education school and higher education school) and group interviewing (pursuing to disclose practical aspects of the above mentioned collaboration opportunities). The essence of student career planning, the main problems regarding the career planning, collaboration opportunities between general education school and higher education school have been discussed.
