Abstract: Pateikiamo tyrimo tikslas - nustatyti socialinio pedagogo profesinės adaptacijos mokyklos bendruomenėje ypatumus. Kokybinės turinio {conteni) analizės rezultatai, kaip kokybinės diagnostikos išdava, išryškino veiksnius, kurie daro įtaką socialinio pedagogo profesinei adaptacijai mokykloje: mokyklos bendruomenės narių ir pačių socialinių pedagogų visavertė samprata apie savo veiklą, asmeninės specialisto savybės, darbo sąlygos, mokyklos bendruomenės supažindinimas su socialinio pedagogo funkcijomis, socialinio pedagogo veiklos kryptis, ryšių su bendruomene užmezgimas bei šio specialisto gebėjimas „išgyventi" darbinėje aplinkoje socialiniu ir psichologiniu požiūriu bei sugebėti kryptingai veikti
The research aim - to diagnose the peculiarities of social pedagogue's professional adaptation at the school community. In order to realize the study aim it was used these research methods: scientific literature analysis, interview, and qualitative content analysis. Qualitative content analysis is based on systemic realization of these steps: multiple reading of the text; identifying of manifest categories based on "key" words; dividing the categories into subcategories; interpreting of the categories with subcategories included and their substantiation, based on extracted evidence from the text. The results of qualitative content analysis as an outcome of qualitative diagnostics had illuminated: 1) The characteristics that influence the social pedagogue's professional adaptation at the school: school community and social pedagogue's comprehension about the activity of social pedagogic of full value; personal qualities of specialist, activity conditions and the representation of social pedagogue's functions for school community; establishment of "directions" in social pedagogue's activity, formation of relationships between social pedagogue and the school community and the self-management ability of the specialist in order not to be burnout in the context of professional activity.
