he artide discusses the roles of teacher assistants in the discourse of support to a learner. The analysis of teacher assistants' reflections of their own activities revealed four areas of activities, where efforts of teacher assistants are concentrated to enable successful education of special needs learners: educational support, physical assistance, psychological support, and social support. Conducting a deeper analysis in the aforesaid areas disdosed the multi-dimensionality of teacher assistants' support and its influence not only on the learning efficiency of learners but also on the maturity of their personality.
