Lietuvoje įrengta 1590 tvenkinių, didžiojoje dalyje pastatyti hidrotehnikos statiniai. Naudojami statiniai nuolatos patiria agresyvų aplinkos poveikį bei intensyvias apkrovas, dėl to ilgainiui nusidėvi, formuojasi pažaidos, statiniai genda ir tampa nebetinkami naudojimui. 2017 ir 2021 metais tyrinėtos Telšių rajone esantys 6 hidromazgai, užfiksuoti konstrukcijų defektai ir pažaidos, įvertintas hidromazgų techninės būklės kitimas. Nustatyta, kad visų statinių būklė per paskutinius keturis metus pablogėjo.

In 2017 and 2021, 6 hidroschemes in Telšiai district were investigated, structural defects and damage were scored, and the change in the technical condition of the hydroschemes was assessed. According to research results were estimated that during the last 4 years the technical condition of all hydroschemes decreased.
