In this article the basic Lithuanian features, whose base is made of national literature works, are reviewed. The author discusses articles in Lithuanian press and concludes that two or three decades is enough time ‘to separate the wheat from the chaff’. This is the revision of cinematographic heritage which let’s us to value that, however earlier was questioned or was strongly rejected.
